About Highland

We set our goals to design and build the most efficient refrigeration systems, using components of highest quality standards available worldwide using our many years of experience.

We sell single components or complete refrigeration projects, containerized or prefabricated refrigeration systems. Our expertise covers low temperature cold storages, -76^°F (- 60^°C), complete integrated refrigeration systems for processing lines, semi-automatic plate freezers, and blast freezers of any kind.

Highland Refrigeration is proud of its dedicated staff, a most valuable asset. We have a strong team of engineers to assist and ensure that our customers receive well-engineered systems at competitive prices and with full service backup. Our experienced Service Department is available for service and follow-up wherever it’s needed.

Patrick Fossey

General Manager

Patrick Fossey is a Mechanical Engineer, MBA with 20+ years’ experience in the design, installation and commissioning of industrial refrigeration and freezer systems. He was the Director of his former company in Chile until he moved to the Seattle to join the Highland team in 2018.

Kjeld Hansen

Engineering Consultant

Kjeld has worked as a Design Engineer in the refrigeration field for many years, including 18 years as Chief Engineer at Sabroe North America. He also made a name for himself in the soft drink industry, designing and procuring the refrigeration system for the world’s biggest Coca Cola plant.

Jens Poulsen

Project Engineer

Jens grew up in the industry and within Highland. At 18, Jens started with the fabrication and servicing of the refrigeration systems. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in material science and engineering while at Highland.
